Happy Springtime Dresses

This morning I woke up and was greeted by our youngest, Riley 3yo, we did our regular morning snuggles, kisses... I was brushing my teeth in my pyjamas and it is like Riley knew I was thinking about what I should wear. She came up to me and said "MOM you need to wear a dress like me... NO MORE SHIRT for you! Dress only.... OK?!" My adorably forceful daughter selected one of my new dresses we just got from our spring clothing order from Old Navy (not sponsored lol) and we were ready for our day!

This had me thinking about some of my favorite spring outfits and dresses are definitely at the top! So today I am sharing some of my favorite dresses out this spring.

The dress I am wearing today is from Old Navy, it has pockets, it is soft and flowy... I love it!

Smocked fit and flare dress

For that cozy comfy life.. you know what I am talking about lol I love this 3/4 Sleeve French Terry Dress with Pocket Hyba from Reitmans.

I love a dress that can be casually or can be easily switched up for work. This feminine Ruffle Sleeve Sheath dress from Old Navy is just that!

A dress with a good smock... bestill my heart lol! They always fit well, they are snug but comfortable and are super cute! Check out this must-have for spring from Reitmans, Printed Swing Dress with Smocking.

I am a sucker for a good t-shirt dress! Am I alone? something that I can throw on quick and slip on my sneaker and am good to go!?!?!? My kind of clothes!

Check out this Vintage Striped shirt dress from old navy and this Jersey Tshirt dress from Joe Fresh!

This Boat Neck Dress from Reitman's is a nice dressier version of a T-Shirt dress. A bit more mature feeling than a regular T-Shirt dress and with an added feminine frill!

I think a big part of wanting to feel soft and feminine in dresses is that we are all locked at home right now (currently in lockdown 5 million in Ontario) and a dress is easy to slip on, requires low effort (yay) and can quickly pick up my mood. I Love Love Love the femininity of this Smocked Waist-Defined Dobby Midi Dress from Old Navy!

And to finish off this lovely list of dress suggestions for spring, hello linen! Check out this Printed Linen-Blend Shirtdress from Joe Fresh! Yes Please!!!!

What are your favorite things to wear in spring? Do you love scarves? Skirts? Jeans all year long lol Let me know and share your fav item below!
